How We Are Keeping Our Staff and Clients Safe

Dear Customers,

Here’s our policy in response to COVID-19.

As the Coronavirus is multiplying daily in Alberta, we all need to take extra precautions. The Drain Doctor™ takes the safety of all of our customers and employees as our top priority.

The Drain Doctor™ has a written Pandemic Plan in place and is taking all necessary precautions to keep everyone safe. All of our staff are trained on proper prevention: Washing hands regularly or sanitizing, avoiding close contact, covering any cough or sneeze, and staying home if not feeling well.

All of our staff have been mandated to follow the below requirements:

  • If any of our staff has been exposed to or been in direct contact with anyone that has returned from a trip, especially overseas, they are required to notify the Safety Officer, Paul Leonard, immediately. They are required to self-isolate for 14 days.

  • If any of our staff have cold/flu-like symptoms, they must notify the Safety Officer immediately and will be sent home until the symptoms are gone and an assessment has been completed.

  • All staff members are required to wear their PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), such as latex gloves, face masks, and eye protection at a minimum.

  • Maintain a 2-meter distance from others.

The majority of our work is individual in nature (not done in group settings with staff congregated in small spaces), and therefore, the risk of exposure is quite low. No employees will be entering tenant spaces that do not meet our mandates. This pandemic is very serious and all employees are expected to comply.

We ask, in return, that all customers notify us if any of their staff members, tenants, or homeowners has been exposed to COVID-19 prior to our employees entering the buildings/units.

Sincerely,

Jolene & Bill Treherne
